Rumi at the Casino

“You have to keep breaking your heart until it opens the door to the Casino.”

In the words of the great pimp Jalal El-Din Rumi:
You think that losing a loved one is a big loss? You obviously never been into a Casino. You never learn what loss is until you enter a Casino. If you want to be free you have to keep breaking your heart until it opens the door to the Casino.

What does your young heart know about love?
The love wound is similar to the opening of a slot machine; the slot is your wound, and you have to fill that wound with anything, like money or alcohol! (Disclaimer: Alcohol works only on love wounds and regular wounds; the slot machine doesn’t accept alcohol as a payment).

These pains you feel are messengers. Listen to them and down another shot, Vodka or Rum? It doesn’t matter. Throw your chips in, roll the dice, and down another one. Your heart is the size of an ocean. Go find yourself a big bottle and start satisfying it. Be someone who doesn’t keep score, who’s not looking to be richer, or afraid of losing, who has not the slightest interest even in his own personality: who’s drunk and most importantly free.

Alcohol not your thing? Why not try drugs?
Coke in the Casino is the jelly to your peanut butter. Trust me on this one; they don’t call me Mawlana for nothing. And when you’re out of money and the world pushes you to your knees, you’re in the perfect position to suck some dick. Life gave you lemons? To hell with lemons! They don’t take lemons at the Casino. It’s never too late to start sucking dick for easy money. Sell your cleverness and buy bewilderment and some more coke. Cleverness is mere opinion. Bewilderment mixed with coke brings intuitive knowledge.

You want to make it out alive don’t you? Forget safety, live where you fear to live.
Live life as if everything is rigged in your favor and remember; the lion is most handsome when looking for food. At some point you may ask yourself: Why do you stay in the Casino when the door is so wide open? Because you’re heartbroken and you love the Casino; just close your eyes, roll the dice, and live free.
