“The first panacea for a mismanaged nation is inflation of the currency; the second is war. Both bring a temporary prosperity; both bring a permanent ruin. But both are the refuge of political and economic opportunists.”

Hemingway took manhood too seriously, he was well known for enjoying bullfighting and picking bar fights at Sloppy Joe’s. Ernest Hemingway lived life to the fullest, he participated in 4+ wars in which 2 of them were world wars. He used to follow all the war pages on Instagram so he doesn’t miss out on any war. Hemingway was also a General in Call of Duty, his ranking level was 155. If he wasn’t playing Call of Duty or fighting a world war he would be out fishing.

One day Hemingway’s internet connection was lagging while playing Call of Duty; so he got really pissed off and went out for fishing. And as the battle with the fish continues, he pulls out a rum bottle to fix himself a nice drink and starts reflecting on what happened in world war 1. He opens his notebook and starts writing: “The first panacea for a mismanaged nation is inflation of the currency; the second is war. Both bring a temporary prosperity; both bring a permanent ruin. But both are the refuge of political and economic opportunists. War is cool though.”

After catching a couple of fish, Hemingway laid by the fish and started fighting the flies that hovered above him. Then and there Hemingway starts writing the important questions in life:

  • Do fish also get high on seaweed?
  • Are fish with STDs considered merm-aids?
  • Is the human’s psyche related to a fish’s psyche since we fall for click-bait?
  • Are blowfish the prostitutes of the sea world?
  • If I teach a man how to fish, do I gain a friend? Or lose a customer?
  • Is human life more significant than a fish’s life?

Then Hemingway stared at the sea for a long time, trying to comprehend life’s questions, he said to himself: “I love fishing. My life has the tendency to fall apart when I’m not fishing.” Then he rolls another joint of seaweed, takes a long puff and blows in the open air and says to his heart: “I miss the war”.
