An encounter between Schopenhauer and Anne Frank at the coffee shop

On a Sunday morning of the year 1813, Arthur arrives to Rotes Café in Gottingen and orders his regular Doppio without sugar, on his left sits a model sipping pumpkin spice latte with almond milk. The model, Anne Frank was twice Arthur’s height; she always thought that she had something important to say, that’s why she carried around her diary everywhere she went.
Arthur asks Anne for a cigarette in order to initiate a conversation; he starts out the conversation cleverly: “I believe that if a woman succeeds in withdrawing from the mass, or rather raising herself above the mass, she grows ceaselessly and more than a man”. Anne Frank smiles at Arthur agreeingly and talks to him about her shopping spree for about an hour and a half while Arthur was downing his fifth Doppio like a Jägermeister shot. Eventually, Arthur reaches a buzz of energy running through his veins, he is clearly fed up with the conversation; so he stands up and makes an announcement: “I hate women because I hate life, and women bring life”. Anne doesn’t react to Arthur’s announcement. Arthur slowly walks away after finishing his cigarette awkwardly while standing up.
That evening Arthur wrote on his Facebook wall that “A high degree of intellect tends to make a man unsocial.” Later he masturbated himself to sleep.
